MAOSS is Powered by Human Intelligence

Intellectual Curiosity, Student Engagement, and a Compassionate Community form the foundation of our human-centered approach to learning and nowhere is that more visible than in our STEAM Lab, where students build, test, and learn by doing.

In this era of pervasive social media and technology, human interaction and connection are more important than ever. At MAOSS, our STEAM Lab is where that connection becomes tangible, students design, build, and troubleshoot side by side, turning curiosity into something they can hold in their hands.

What guides us

Our Foundations

Mission

Distinguished education

We provide high-quality education that develops every student's academic, intellectual, and personal abilities because we believe every student carries potential worth nurturing.

Partnership

Built together

Education succeeds through partnership. We work closely with parents, teachers, and the local community, whose cooperation drives our students' progress.

Character

Well-rounded students

We raise young people who are responsible, independent, and able to think critically and creatively with respect for others at the center of it all.

Care

A safe environment

Learning needs a foundation of safety. We look after our students academically, socially, psychologically, and physically, so growth can happen without fear.

Beyond class

Talent and horizons

Our students compete and create beyond the classroom in culture, science, sport, and art discovering talents and broadening their horizons.

Vision

Ready for the future

Together, we prepare a generation that is aware, educated, responsible, and peace-oriented ready to meet the future with confidence.

We continuously look forward to further success and excellence, and to continuing our educational journey in a spirit of cooperation, dedication, and commitment.

The Space
to Make

In partnership with the American University of Beirut, Maroun Abboud Public High School created a student-centered makerspace where curiosity becomes hands-on learning.

The initiative gives students the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through projects, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.

The makerspace is not just a room with machines and tools. It's a safe haven, a place where students can explore their passions, learn new skills, and collaborate with their peers.
